Optimizing the Brain with AI

QEEG Guided Neuromodulation for Clinical Excellence

June 12-14, 2026 (Fri-Sun)
Denver, Colorado
FDA 510(k) Cleared • IQPA Endorsed

? Want objective data behind every protocol decision — whether you're using TMS, neurofeedback, PBM, or some combination?

? Looking to predict how your patients will respond before committing to a treatment path, using brain mapping instead of trial and error?

? Ready to see how QEEG ties all of it together into one guided neuromodulation strategy?

Workshop Overview

This immersive workshop is built around a precision psychiatry framework — using AI-powered Quantitative EEG (QEEG) analysis to provide objective biomarkers for clinical decision-making. Learn how to leverage brain mapping to inform TMS protocol selection and precise anatomical targeting, guide medication choices by identifying distinct neurobiological phenotypes (e.g., SSRI responders vs. non-responders), and establish objective outcome measures.

Led by Dr. Dave Kim, Shari Johansson, Carlos Chinchilla, and Rebekah Walker, the program covers EEG fundamentals, advanced QEEG interpretation, and integrates TMS, Photobiomodulation (PBM), and neurofeedback into a comprehensive neuromodulation strategy.

Agenda Breakdown

Day 1

EEG Fundamentals & Measurement Labs

Build a solid foundation in EEG principles — from physical units, frequency, and amplitude to normal vs. abnormal patterns and the anterior posterior gradient. Then move into hands-on measurement labs where you'll capture your own EEG data and review results through EEG/HRV Summary Reports with normative comparisons. Learn how baseline EEG informs psychopharmacological treatment strategies and functional neuroanatomy relevant to TMS targeting.

Trainers: Dr. Dave Kim & Shari Johansson

Day 2

EEG Phenotypes & QEEG Deep-Dive

Explore how alpha waves are generated, the role of neurotransmitters, brain subsystems, and distinct EEG phenotypes associated with psychiatric conditions. Dive deep into QEEG: topographic mapping, AMICA, sLORETA source localization, and connectivity analysis to pinpoint precise targets for TMS and neuromodulation. Work through real psychiatric case series to learn how to predict medication responses and reverse-engineer diagnostics from QEEG to raw EEG.

Trainers: Dr. Dave Kim & Shari Johansson

Day 3

PBM Protocols & Neurofeedback

Understand how to integrate QEEG data into comprehensive neuromodulation plans. Design QEEG-guided TMS, Photobiomodulation (PBM), and neurofeedback protocols. Review case studies demonstrating objective outcome tracking for treatment-resistant depression and medication management. Experience live demonstrations of integrated therapies and a special guest lecture (speaker TBA). Workshop closes with certification distribution.

Trainers: Dr. Dave Kim, Shari Johansson, Carlos Chinchilla & Rebekah Walker
